Adding a Class(es)
If you drop one class and add another class , you must return the books from the dropped course. There are only enough books for students actually taking the course. We need your help in returning your textbooks promptly. Your failure to return the book will disadvantage another student and can result in restrictions for you.

Change in Schedule
If a student has a change in their schedule after they pick-up their books, they need to get an updated schedule from their counselor. Then they need to return the textbook(s) from the previous course, if one was issued, and a textbook(s) for the new course will be issued. We need your help in returning your textbooks promptly. If your book gets abused while it is check out to you, you must pay either a rebinding fee or, if damage is severe you will need to pay the replacement price of the book. Textbooks are expensive. Paperbacks cost up to $25 and hardbacks up to almost $100 each. Take care of the book(s) issued to you. It is strongly advised that you place a book cover on each of the books issued to you to protect the cover and binding.

Move or Change Schools
Students who move or change schools during the school year must return all textbooks signed out to them throughout the school year at the time of withdrawal from Huron High School. If your name appears on the obligation list, you must clear the obligation before you will be allowed to obtain your school records from Huron High school and your records are transferred to your new school.

Senior - Book Returns/Penalties
Seniors MUST return their books during the week of senior exams in May. Any senior who has not returned all their books will not be allowed to pick-up their cap and gown or their diploma until all obligations have been cleared. It is the student's responsibility to check the obligation list to make sure that all obligations are taken care and cleared before they pick up their cap and gown or their diploma. Also, transcripts will not be issued until all obligations are cleared. Outstanding obligations will be paid at the General Office. Make check(s) payable to Ann Arbor Huron High School.
