There are many online FREE resources to help you prepare for college tests. Since the tests are given digitally, it is important to spend at least a portion of your time using the online resources. Prefer print? The Huron library does not have funding to purchase the print test prep books each year (they tend to get checked out and never return...we get it!), but the public library does:

Ann Arbor District Library test prep books. ALL HURON STUDENTS CAN GET A FREE AADL library card regardless of where they live by presenting their student ID at any branch. We have library card applications if you want to fill one out and bring it to the library, locations and hours are here. You can request books and have them sent to one branch. 

SAT Test Prep
Now that the SAT is fully digital, students are strongly encouraged to take FREE Bluebook practice tests online. These practice tests help students become familiar with the types of questions the test will ask, the pacing of the test and also identifies areas that students would benefit from additional preparation based on their performance. It is actually helpful to take a practice test before you being studying so you can target your time and energy in the right places.

• The Bluebook Testing Application (which has been downloaded on all student Macbooks) contains 4 full length practice tests. Students must create a College Board student account to access the practice tests (all AAPS 8th grade students create a College Board account in school). Students who are currently in grades 9-11 who haven't already created an account on their own can create an account by following the steps on this slide deck. AAPS has no oversight of student College Board accounts. We are not able to verify whether or not a student has created an account nor can we assist with login issues. Students with questions about College Board accounts should contact the College Board help desk at 866-315-6068.  Once a student completes a full length practice test in Bluebook, they will receive a score, and will see a breakdown of questions with answer explanations. In addition to full length practice tests, Bluebook also has a Test Preview feature, which will allow students to get a feel for the testing platform and practice with the testing tools.
